A Norwegian triumph!
The land of the fjords really made our trip there a moment of joy, sheer happiness and wonderful memories. Many thanks to our friend Alex for a great time together.

Primus the PH really made a remarkable thing when he was placed 2nd in very strong champion class with specialty winners from both Finland and Sweden. Prims was later on 3d best male. For us, this must mean that he is a damn good looking PH with or without his testicles:o) Prims continues on placing in best male classes and beating intact males despite the fact that he is neutured due to testicle inflammation. The judge today praised him but he lost to a fair winner this day. Congrats to Masha and Pharuz!
Primus critique: "Champion male. Very much beautiful in whole. Elegant and smooth appearance. Masculine and well defined head with wonderful breed characteristics. Well carried elegant neck. Beautiful top and underline. Excellent bones and paws. Slightly short upper arm which is shown in the movements. Stands like a dream. Excellent coat. Beautiful colour and markings. Floating movements. Well handled."
A thousand hugs to Prims new friend and handler, Simon Tien Hansen who made Prims appearance in the ring so wonderful!
There were 16 shibas who were entered for breed specialist Britt Nyberg. Mrs. Nyberg judged the Norwegian akita specialty in 2007 so she really knows and appreciates these japanese breeds. 7 males and 9 females came to start. We didnt expect much but we thought that both Kuro chan and April were in good show condition and could maybe attract the judges eyes. We were thrilled to notice that Kuro chan won a big championclass of 6!! In best male Kuro chan showed proof of his excellent movements, expression and outgoing personality. Kuro chan was best male!! As to April she did the best she could do. She won the championclass and was 2nd best female. Big congratulations also to the sweet Titti (SCh Okami's Genhime) and Helena. She was a well deserved best female. In BOB and BOS competition, the judge told us that both Kuro chan and the female Titti were two shibas she was honoured to judge. Such excellent breed representatives with so much japanese expression. My tears were not far away when Kuro chan was awarded BOB!! With this win Kuro chan also became a Norwegian show champion, got an additional CACIB to his collection and was qualified to Crufts 2010!!To win under a well merited judge like Britt Nyberg truly feel amazing.
Kuro chan critique: "Very masculine elegant but powerful champion male of excellent quality. Nice size. Correct proportion. Eyes full of expression. Tight lips. Excellent underjaw. Powerful neck. Strong topline. Excellent underline. Correct bone and angulation. Near perfect tail. Moves with resilience. Excellent black and tan colour with beautiful markings. Excellent temprament"
April critique: "A very feminine female with excellent proportions. A very feminine and well sculptured head. Excellent underjaw. Dark expressive eyes. Well placed ears. Excellent top- and underline. Well developed front. Broad thies. Excellent coat but slightly too soft. Excellent colour. Moves well from every side"
